RCE is the top line grouping of a range of vertical community applications and services founded to serve the European staffing and recruitment sector.

RCE will revolutionise the way recruitment industry professionals relate. Recruitment professionals have so much in common, yet we work in our little cubicle worlds, rarely meeting, rarely sharing our collective experiences. Our objective is to challenge and stimulate debate, promote best practices and foster knowledge share within the European Recruitment community.

Who are the team behind RCE?
The co-founders are Keith Robinson and Alan Whitford.

The RCE founders have many years of experience in the recruitment, media and publishing sector. Keith and Alan are acknowledged industry thought leaders and speak regularly at recruitment conference across Europe.

Keith has launched magazines such as Personnel Today, been a director of 2 recruitment advertising agencies and as COO of Totaljobs.com helped not just build a strong e-brand but was at the forefront of putting on-line recruitment on the map.

Alan has significant general management experience and has spent the last 10 years leading the evolution of technology which supports E-HR and recruitment. Alan wrote the original and at that time definitive guide to on-line recruitment. He has lectured at 100’s of seminars, conferences and workshops. He today consults for clients on “Best Practice” in recruitment and the “Candidate Experience”.

The founders have received industry wide support for this initiative. Recruitment industry leading bloggers, recruitment professionals, vendors, consultants and other recruitment information portals have agreed to sharing their learning, expertise and content to see this initiative succeed.

RCE Advisory Board
The RCE Advisory Board will provide thought leadership and direction for the European Community. It is expected that members will be drawn from industry, consulting, direct recruitment, media and other related sectors. Members will have regular meetings, discussing current status and objectives and future directions of the community.


PORTFOLIO
To date in Europe, there has been no web based pan-European information portal for the recruitment industry. We believe that this is an ideal time to launch RCE and a range of supporting communities to address this gap in the market. Recruitment News Europe (RNE) and Recruitment Events Europe (REE) will be the first two businesses launched under the RCE banner in Q4 2008.

Each of the service groupings listed below provides a different platform to achieve the goals of RCE.

Recruitment News Europe (RNE)
RNE is a pan European Recruitment industry information portal. It is a virtual community, providing access to information on local recruitment markets in every country in Europe.

Recruitment Events Europe (REE)
REE manages a series of conferences and seminars for the local in-country, pan-European and Global recruitment community. The signature event is the Global Recruitment Conference, held for the 4th year in Amsterdam in November 2008.

Recruitment Bistro Europe (RBE)
RBE takes the virtual networking forums and creates a physical event for our community members to come together. Talented professionals in related industries can meet informally, mentor each other, work on projects together and begin direct knowledge sharing.

Recruitment TV Europe (RTVE)
RTVE will advise and implement the use of digital streaming media for recruitment purposes. It may evolve into a direct broadcast channel for employers and candidates alike. Under the RTVE banner, live streaming video of GRC 2008 the main conference sessions was broadcast on the RCE site, ERE.net and Ustream.tv.

Recruitment Jobs Europe (RJE)
RJE may be launched in late 2009 to provide the first pan-European community site solely for recruiters looking to enhance or change careers.

Recruitment Training Europe (RTE)
RTE provides a facility for corporate and staffing industry training and education with either directly developed programmes or in partnership with local partners.

Recruitment Marketing Europe (RME)
RME provides advice, solutions and implementation of strategies and technologies for pan-European hiring needs ccovering all aspects of candidate attraction, communication and management.
